There are two pieces of material sewn together, so this is indeed a blanket and not just a sheet. It is a very thin blanket, but a blanket nonetheless. The material is surprisingly heavy though. So it not only provides cooling relief, but also a tiny bit of weight. I got the king size blanket for my queen size bed so that my husband and I can have plenty of blanket and not fight over it. The king size is true and this blanket did not shrink in the wash. The material is very silky soft and feels great against the skin. I sleep better with it and don't toss and turn as much. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was the color. It looks like a bright leaf green in the listing images, but it is a dusty sage green in person. So I knocked a star off for that reason, because the other color would have gone better with my bedroom decor. Overall though, this is a great cooling blanket that actually helps cool the body and keep it cool all night.

The quality is good, it looks nice, it is very smooth and silky and I'm going to keep it as it'll be good for summer in Florida.

Well made cooling blanket! It's light weight for warm weather, but has somewhat of a weighted feel to it even though it's not technically a weighted piece.

The edges of the blanket are finished off beautifully with a white piping all around. One side of the blanket is a mottled pale blue and the other side has stripes.

The fabric is very soft, and has a slippery, silky feel to it, which was a surprise to me. It definitely has a cooling effect, and does what it claims to do for hot sleepers like me. I will note, because of the silky fabric type, any rough patch on your skin does snag. I garden, so my hands sometimes get rough and catch on certain fabrics. In addition, I understand this is a cooling blanket, but personally, I'm not a fan of the feel of this type of fabric anywhere on my skin. There's nothing wrong with the fabric, so it's just a personal preference thing that I'm pointing out here. The product itself is perfectly fine. I just didn't know how it would feel until I received it, and silky is not my preference.

I ordered a King size blanket for my Queen sized bed which is something I tend to do. The bedding is longer and has more coverage, so it hangs lower on the sides of the bed which was my intention.

Washing instructions are listed on a tag attached to the blanket. Very easy care, and mine washed up beautifully before its first use. Simply machine wash cold on gentle and tumble dry low.

I will be using this blanket after all, but with a cotton sheet between me and it. I know this defeats the purpose, but it's still the perfect weight for this time of year, and I still get the cooling effect I like without the shiny fabric touching my skin. I have switched out my regular bedding and have been using this with the sheet, and I sleep comfortably I'm happy to say. Overall, a great product that I would highly recommend.

This cooling blanket is perfect for summer. Not only is it lightweight but it is also very smooth. I love how I can use this on a hundred degree night and still feel as if I'm sleeping in a cold environment.

This blanket will suit a certain type of person. I'm in AZ so it gets hot here and I wore it a few nights and I was freezing..
It's very thin and big which is nice and I'm sure some people will like that but I need a bit heavier and warmer of a blanket even in AZ. So really I give it 5 stars because well.. it did it's job a little too well :) It just was not for me.
If you like light and thin get this blanket you will have a good time. As for me I'm going with something a littler heavier.

I got this cooling blanket to try in the xl throw size. It's pretty effective at maintaining a cool feel. It is 2 layers of thin silky material. It has a nice wide hem and both pieces are sewn together securely. The size is perfect. I can't stand when a throw is too short to cover my feet. this one is long enough for full coverage when you're lounging on the couch, but not so large that it engulfs you or takes up a lot of space when not in use. It comes in several neutral colors, I chose the gray which goes well with a variety of decor. This blanket is very effective at keeping a breeze off you while still keeping you cool. It is going to be my go-to indoors all summer long when my partner keeps the AC cranked. The price is reasonable for the quality. It washed and dried well in the machines, no complaints there. Shipped quickly.

Wow! This is by far the best blanket i now own! I got the king size even though we have a queen size bed and i Love this! The texture feels like silk and almost as light as air itself. I love to sleep with the ac cold and a fan on but i would always get hot and even swet in the middle of the night. O slept with only this on and thought i might get too cold but surprisingly it was perfect! This blanket/sheet is worth every cent! I give this 5 out of 5 stars! Texture, material and price all exceeded my expectations!

This double sided cooling blanket by PHF is silky soft and feels fabulously cool against the skin.
The blanket is available in several sizes and a variety of colors to match your d��cor. I chose the oil green which is sort of a heathered army green and I'm happy with the color.
As soon as I opened the package I felt the coolness of the fabric.
In hot weather I flip my pillows often to get that fresh bit of coolness, but this blanket which is more like a sheet, keeps the coolness without ever absorbing body heat.
The material is 77% Nylon 23% Polyethylene on the top and, 66% Nylon 34% Viscose on the bottom layer.
Even though there are two layers, this material is very lightweight which you can see in my photo showing the light shining through the silky fabric.
The binding is stitched well along edges for durability, with the top and bottom each having a different pattern and texture.
Before using these blankets, I recommend using body lotion if you have rough or dry skin, as it's possible you'll feel a snag, the same way dry skin snags on pantyhose or soft baby clothes. There is nothing wrong with the blanket; it's just that you'll appreciate the texture more if you don't have rough or dry skin.
Also I recommend washing and drying on low-cool settings.
I love the feel of this breathable cooling blanket and would order it in other colors and even order some for gifts.
At first I thought this thin cooling blanket was overpriced at $47.99; however after using it and experiencing its effectiveness, I consider it a good value for the money.

I have always been curious about these cooling blankets.
I am a very hot sleeper and like to sleep with at least a thin blanket or sheet on.
I have never used a cooling blanket so I have nothing to compare it to.
So far this has exceeded my expectations.
I live in Florida and it is just hot to begin with and being a hot sleeper on top of that can be miserable.
The first thing I noticed about this blanket was the weight in the package.
It felt heavy so I was questioning how this could be cooling.
I read the tag and saw that it was nylon and polyester so I thought for sure I would be sweating under it.
I was wrong. This cooling blanket has been a game changer for me the last few nights. I have actually slept the whole night without waking up sweating several times throughout the night.
The blanket is odd, it almost feels weighted but is not heavy if that makes sense.
It is double layered and seems to be bound nicely.
When I went to bed and got under the blanket it definitely was cooling against my skin.
The material is very silky and does not snag on you.
It feels well made and the quality appears very good.
Again, I have never used a cooling blanket before so I can't compare it to others.
With that being said I think this is a great blanket (at least for me) if you are a hot sleeper but still like to sleep with a thin blanket or sheet on you.
I also feel like the weight of the blanket has a very calming effect to it.
For me this was a game changer and I definitely recommend.
