This duvet cover washed really well, i used cold water and low dryer temp. It does pucker up like muslin does after being washed but it easily stretched back out with gentle tugs.

The material is soft, as i would expect from muslin. It lays well and the texture adds some visual interest in lieu of a pattern.

This has buttons at the bottom to enclose the duvet. My prior duvet had a zipper, and while that is easier to fasten it was always showing. For that reason, I think I prefer button closure despite the extra effort.

It's remarkably soft. The price is fair for the quality of the material. It's sort of a medium weight and we are enjoying using it during the summer without having the duvet in place. I can't speak to stain resistance as we don't eat or have pets on our beds. I'm very happy with it. I wish they offered standard sized pillows rather than the king size. Or at least gave you the option to pick that instead as we can't use the king sized cases. They look great thought and fit the duvet well. I think it would look better if we could use them as it looks sort of not finished. We'll probably get some because of that. I love the casual vibe and highly recommend them.
